Meet Dr. Michelle Leve

Dr. Leve is a New York trained, Florida licensed clinical psychologist offering therapy to adults, teens, and young adults.

Dr. Leve received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the New School for Social Research in New York City, from which she also earned her Master’s Degree in General Psychology. 

She received her clinical training at Beth Israel Hospital (New York, NY), Fordham University’s Counseling Center (New York, NY), St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital’s Women’s Health Project (New York, NY), The Addiction Institute (New York, NY), and Pace University’s Counseling Center (New York, NY)

Dr. Leve provides therapy to adolescents, teens and adults. Her areas of expertise mood disorders, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Her approach is rooted in relational therapy, which helps clients to increase self-awareness and reduce long-standing maladaptive patterns. She also employs solution-focused techniques to help clients make meaningful changes. Dr. Leve’s clients come to understand what behaviors and relationship are hindering them and develop the essential skills and insight needed to lead lives with more joy.

Dr. Leve’s interest in working with young adults began during her internship at Pace University in New York City. At Pace, she had specialized training working with high performing students enrolled in the prestigious Actor’s Studio. Dr. Leve enabled these students to manage their emotions and cope with stress and anxiety while building healthy relationships in the pursuit of optimal performance.

Additionally, Dr. Leve has spent many years conducting research and working in women’s mental health and wellness, including cosmetic surgery, infertility, and reproductive technologies. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
